Defenders of Samhan — it is finally time to return home

September 1–11 · Samhan New Year

The road home is open. Now we rebuild it.

Samhan Chronicles is in public Early Access. No key. No invitation. Arrive as a Wanderer, cross into Seasong, choose a Path when the world has earned your answer, and help restore what comes next.

This is a launch campaign with work inside it: newcomers to welcome, four halls to raise, a western gate to reclaim, trades to reconnect, and a road from Ash to Constable Heathcliff that keeps growing as you do.

The Bacchanalia

Eleven days to begin a tradition worth repeating.

September 1 is Samhan New Year. From September 1 through 11, the launch Bacchanalia turns restoration, games, music, trade, discoveries, and shared meals into one long opening celebration.

September 10 is feast night. Bring what you gathered, cooked, learned, won, or made useful for somebody else.

Welcome Wagon · operating now

A world becomes a home when somebody notices you arrived.

Existing Defenders can send a Welcome Wagon code to a new traveler. The recipient creates an account and character, completes the crossing, reaches Seasong, and brings the code to Imogen.

The newcomer receives a Welcome Pack and Welcome Wagon Legend Mark. The sender earns referral credit toward their own recognition. The pack contains no pile of currency and no purchased head start.

The point is not recruitment at any cost. It is one person taking responsibility for another person’s first clear door.

Path Hall Restoration · launch campaign

Four halls. Four methods. One city refusing to leave any of them behind.

Warrior, Rogue, Mystic, and Sage do not share one decorative lobby. Each Path has a hall, a material ledger, a recognition ladder, and work that reflects how its Defenders improve the road.

Bring what the world gave you

Gathering, hunting, questing, and trade feed the restoration ledgers. Cross-Path donations count; your own discipline does not forbid you from helping another hall stand.

No abandoned Path

Open Hands is the failsafe. Popularity cannot turn one Path into the empty room everybody else forgot to repair.

All Paths Equal is not a slogan above the door. It is the rule used to rebuild the doors.

Reclaiming Rocky Woods · in implementation

The West Gate should lead somewhere worth becoming ready for.

Our restoration plan opens Rocky Woods from Seasong’s West Gate at level 15. That is where all trades are introduced as practical work instead of menu vocabulary.

Inside Rocky Woods

Tier 1–3 gathering materials, approachable creatures for experience, dedicated gathering areas, and side quests make the woods a field where a new Defender can learn why the economy needs them.

Harvesting, Forestry, and Mining begin close enough to understand. Hunting gives the production chain a body to work from.

Rocky Woods teaches desire. The frontier gives that desire somewhere to go.

Farming and homesteads · progressive lane

A home should put something back into the road.

Homesteads give patronage an address: land to cultivate, a steward to keep the door, Cold Storage to preserve useful goods, and production space earned through agricultural work.

A patron is not buying the better sword. They are taking responsibility for a place that still needs hunters, harvesters, foresters, miners, farmers, cooks, elemancers, traders, neighbors, and visitors.

Farm

Join seeds, land, water, and materials already present in the world. Farming synthesizes the economy; it does not invent a fifth source of orphan commodities.

Store

Cold Storage begins with 16 entries and preserves the remaining life of consumables for no more than 14 cumulative real days. It never makes old stew young.

Steward

The patron holds the promise. The steward keeps the address recoverable and the work connected to the people it is meant to serve.

Back the world. Never buy the win.

Cooking and Elemancy · launch crafting loop

A carcass is not loot. It is unfinished work.

A hunter returns with the whole creature. A harvester separates cuts, stock, hide, sinew, fat, bone, glands, innards, and other honest parts. Cooking and Elemancy decide what those parts can become before time makes the decision for them.

Cooking at the hibachi

Cuts, stock, produce, and seasoning become vita goods with a shelf life. Public cooking comes first; earned homestead stations use the same recipes and create the same food. Proximity is the benefit—not a secret better supper.

Elemancy at the Catalyzer

Exact glands, bone, plants, minerals, and elemental materials become mana goods and other disciplined answers. The machine does not create reagents. It asks whether you understood their source.

The launch loop is being assembled in public: crafter NPCs in the world, stations with a purpose, and outputs that return to players instead of disappearing into a menu.

The trades · connected economy

The hunt gets the glory. The trades make a killing.

Three gathering disciplines feed four production disciplines. Harvesting, Forestry, and Mining supply Construction, Cooking, Elemancy, and Farming. Hunting starts the creature chain. Trading moves every useful answer toward the player who needs it.

Gather.
Take a readable material from a readable source.
Process.
Turn the whole source into honest parts instead of a magic bag of unrelated loot.
Produce.
Combine parts through recipes, stations, time, and learned skill.
Trade.
Move the result toward tribute, equipment, survival, restoration, or the next player’s plan.

No new base commodities. No disconnected crafting universe. The same world supplies the hunt, the workshop, the market, and the road.

Minigames and Carnage · event lane

Restoration needs a dance floor.

The Bacchanalia is not eleven days of staring at contribution counters. Minigames, Carnage sessions, music, gatherings, and live calls give the campaign a pulse between larger restoration pushes.

Carnage is a safe production lane as well as spectacle. Its prize pool is being tuned to include raw stock, resources, and commodities that feed level-15 crafting and armor tribute instead of bypassing them.

Farmers Market radio is already on the air. The games keep people together long enough for a strange drop, a new trade, or somebody else’s impossible plan to become the next useful job.

Win something. Trade something. Bring something to the feast.

Ash and Cliff · progressive road

A tutorial ends. A road remembers.

Ash meets the Wanderer before a formal Path can turn uncertainty into a costume. They teach the early road in motion—one decision, one obstacle, one useful piece of evidence at a time.

Constable Heathcliff keeps the civic record. After the earlier Ash milestone, the road returns through Cliff at level 25 and carries the Defender into Heritage House, from attic to cellar and back again.

Thirteen roads, one spine

The progressive quest tracks all thirteen main road steps, recognizes readiness, and awards the locked full-road experience bonus when the whole route has been completed.

It is implemented and moving through final in-client verification.

Ash teaches you how to begin. Cliff asks whether the beginning became a life.
