Work held in common
A good hunt ends with something useful. So does a good harvest.
Samhan Chronicles does not place hunting above the work that feeds, equips, houses, and repairs a community. Every useful object has a source. Most need more than one pair of hands.
The source ledger
Four ways material enters the world
Farming synthesizes those sources. It does not manufacture an unrelated second world of commodities.
The ledger is closed on purpose. If a thing is useful, somebody should be able to point to where it entered the world.
Seven disciplines
Bring it home. Change what it can do.
Harvesting, Forestry, and Mining bring raw material home. Construction, Cooking, Elemancy, and Farming change what that material can do.
Hunting crosses the same system. A hunter can sell the whole carcass; a harvester can separate cuts, hide, sinew, fat, bone, glands, and innards; a cook or elemancer can turn those honest parts into time-sensitive answers. A seed can become a crop, an ingredient, a tribute, or a reliable answer to scarcity. A mineral can become structure before it ever becomes a weapon.
A living sample
What one Oak Leaf can prove
An Oakseed gathers elemental evidence by living on Pebble Path. The leaf it carries is part of a chain:
water + soil + root + seed + animal + carried quintessence
Take the right elemental leaves, the Heirloom Necklace, and a Quintessential Base to Ciprian. The catalyst returns the necklace in its chosen color and completes the base as Ironclad Garb.
The item is useful because the place, creature, player, and craft all participated in making it true.
The recipe does not erase the evidence. It gives the evidence a job.
Equipment tribute
Armor asks more than one kind of player
Later equipment can draw on caves, leather, resin, garden seeds, refined drops, armament, and separately measured Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood.
No single loop owns that progress. The hunter who opens the source, the gatherer who reads the land, the maker who refines it, and the trader who puts it into another player’s hands are solving different parts of one requirement.
That is not four side systems. It is one piece of armor asking the community to exist.
The Marketplace
Trade is a player conversation
Marketplace listings are created, maintained, priced, and closed by players. Staff moderates conduct and prohibited exchange. It does not guarantee availability, value, condition, or delivery.
Fresh food decays. Reagents get used. Cold Storage buys time without making old goods young. That leaves room for reputation, specialization, repeat demand, and the small relief of finding exactly what somebody else did not need.
A homestead does not escape this economy. It gives the economy an address, a cellar, and a regular customer.
