A world begins.
A history grows.
The land keeps a quicker rhythm.
Its calendar carries our stories.
Dawns, Risings & Revolutions / The rhythm of the world
The land turns.
Our history grows.
In Samhan, daylight, seasons and legend dates share one accelerated world calendar. One Rising is a full world day: three real hours at the normal pace.
A seed measures time by what it becomes. A field by what it can give. A traveller by the road behind them, and the people waiting at its end.
In Qi’an, the sun returns often. Fields ripen, the seasons turn, and another beginning comes within reach. You can watch the land change around you without waiting a year beyond the screen.
The calendar belongs to that living world. The Rising on its clock and the season along its roads are part of the same passage of time. Your legends keep their place within it: the world as it was when a chapter of your story was written.
- Dawn · A world-time phase
- The return of daylight. One of six phases within a world day: Dawn, Morning, Noontide, Dusk, Evenfall and Overnight.
- Rising · One world day
- One complete turn through day and night, lasting three real hours at the normal pace. The numbered Rising advances at world midnight. Dawn is a phase within that day, not the calendar boundary.
The light returns.
The land changes. The story stays. At the normal running pace, eight Risings pass in one real day.
When we speak of a “turn,” we mean a complete day-and-night cycle: one Rising, not a separate calendar unit. For a harvest, reward or event, follow its own stated timer or notice.
In practice / Knowing when to return
Know which clock to follow.
| What you are reading | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Dawn or another world phase | A point within the in-game day. Follow the world clock if an activity asks for a particular phase. |
| A Rising or Revolution | An in-game day or year. Legend dates and the world’s seasons follow this same accelerated calendar. |
| Crops, cooldowns or daily rewards | Follow that activity’s stated timer or reset notice. A world midnight and a real midnight do not set a universal reset for every system. |
| An event or gathering | Follow its published real date, time and timezone. The website’s minigame schedule displays start times in your device’s local timezone. A Rising number alone is not a complete appointment. |
| A season or festival | Seasons follow the world calendar. A festival follows its event notice; a season changing does not, by itself, announce an event’s start. |
Timezone matters: this page’s real-world date and opening timestamp use fixed EST (UTC−05:00), year-round. They do not control the game calendar. An event labelled Eastern Time (ET) may use EST or EDT with daylight saving; follow the timezone on its own notice.
The early chapters / A beginning worth remembering
You were here
while the story was young.
The first arrivals help a world become a place: a familiar face at the gate, a name beside a discovery, a hand offered before anyone knows the road.
Revolutions keep moving with that world. A milestone belongs to the in-game date recorded in its legend, so achievements reached in different world years carry different Revolution numbers, even within the same real year.
The numbers move on. Your part in the beginning remains.
Revolution 1 is an in-game year, not a label for everyone who joins between October and December 2026. Later Revolutions begin when the world’s own year turns.
Before the opening / Testers & Immortals
Before the gates,
there were you.
Before the public opening, there were players willing to begin in an unfinished world. Our playtesters and Immortals helped shape the roads others would one day take.
Opening the gates does not erase those beginnings. Their place in the story belongs to the adventures they actually shared and the records that remain of them.
The opening harvest
Start with something worth gathering.
Our public story begins with the harvest: the moment a season of work becomes something a community can share. The leaves turn. The stores fill. A new chapter opens with the people who helped build it.
Plant a beginning. Grow a history.
The public opening date is October 1, 2026. The harvest is our opening chapter, while the world’s seasons and Revolutions continue on their own clock. Follow current realm notices for the real dates and availability of opening activities.
02 / Four halls. One celebration.
Earn the feast.
Warrior, Rogue, Mystic and Sage: every Path has a place in the work ahead. The planned Bacchanalia follows the restoration of all four Path halls. A shared achievement deserves a shared table.
Follow realm notices for restoration progress and celebration details.
03 / Ash & Cliff
A road that remembers.
A limited-time “extinct” reward is planned for Defenders who complete the Golden Route questline, with Ash and Cliff at the heart of the journey.
Take the road all the way. Beginning an adventure is easy to remember. Finishing one ought to leave a mark.
04 / Reclaiming Rocky Woods
The woods have work for everyone.
The campaign pairs communal culling with contributions from Harvesting, Mining and Forestry. Hunters clear the way. Gatherers bring back the raw lots. Every part of the production chain belongs in the story.
Follow the in-game campaign notices for current objectives and contribution requests.
05 / Beyond the familiar shore
Some paths are still a surprise.
The first harvest is the beginning of a longer story. There are places beyond the familiar route, and a few plans best discovered when the way opens.
Keep an eye on Seasong.
06 / Keep your bearings
A companion for the road.
The Almanac is your companion for the world: questions, commands, places and useful local knowledge. The Eternal Library is its physical repository in-game.
Read a little. Try something. Come back with a better question.
Reference / Time at a glance
A quicker world.
A lasting record.
One accelerated calendar carries the world’s daylight, seasons and legend dates together. Real-world clocks help us arrange a gathering and measure how long we have shared the adventure.
| In the world | In real life |
|---|---|
| 1 world minute | 7.5 seconds |
| 1 world hour | 7.5 minutes |
| 1 Rising · One full day-and-night turn | 3 hours |
| 8 Risings | 24 hours |
| 1 Revolution · One world year | About 46 days |
Within each Rising: Dawn · Morning · Noontide · Dusk · Evenfall · Overnight.
Within our history: Risings count world days, Revolutions count world years, and Aeons name generations of the game.
These conversions describe the clock’s normal running speed, not a promise that every crop, reward or event uses that clock. Follow each activity’s own timer. Pausing the world interrupts its calendar; it does not pause every event schedule.
World dates: the in-game clock. Opening counter and real-world date: fixed EST (UTC−05:00). Event appointments: the timezone on their own notice.
